Charlie and Elise show of their choice of ride for Red Bull Hardline – the A200G and the A.200
With a couple of days of practise under their belts, the “A” team share some setup choices and first impressions… Tasmania 2025 is looking very dry with super deep dust in places over hardpack, causing traction issues for some but Charlie and Elise are loving life!
Head technician Ben Lovell said “The course is rolling much faster than last year, which is good as some of the jumps have been made bigger so the riders are needing all the extra speed they can get.
"We’ve brought Elise her A.200.G to Tasi with us but with no time on the new version she’s chosen the A.200 for this event so her bike looks quite different to Charlie’s. Also her being lighter means her bike is a bit softer on suspension and tires. We haven’t changed much on their bikes mainly just a couple of PSI firmer in the tires and a couple of clicks more compression on the suspension. The track still has technical features where they need the bike to feel like their race bike” - Ben Lovell

Elise: “Been swinging off the A.200 here at Hardline, and it rips. The long wheelbase makes the bike feel insanely stable to ride, and it handles the big features dreamily, especially when you’re in the air for a while. Feel like I could take this bike anywhere; plus, it’s insanely fun to ride. Even pushing down Hardline, it feels like the bike has no limitations, making this course super fun to try and ride. Just loving it out here.”
Charlie: I’ve been super impressed with bike at home but Hardline was always going to be the hardest test! The A.200.G has handled it like a champ. It eats up the big hits so well and honestly makes the big drops feel smooth! And it’s so silent whilst doing it. The bike is sick!
