Nothing beats the feeling of a downhill bike at full speed. No other company has the racing heritage, the immediacy of rider feedback and the innovative manufacturing methods that allow us to implement improvements within weeks.
With a mixed wheel configuration and a DW suspension platform with 200mm of rear travel our DH bikes bring factory fit and pro-level race performance to all riders.
Our A.200 was the first UK manufactured bike to win a Men's Elite World Championship, but we were still pushing to make it faster, whilst the S.200 brings the learnings from the A.200 to a super durable aluminium bike, as seen on Red Bull Hardline, the toughest DH race in the World.
Whether you're a downhill racer or a park rat, or looking for a confidence boost as you take on gnarly natural downhills we have a DH bike to perfectly fit your needs. All our bikes are agile and responsive in handling, opening up more line choices than ever before. Whichever Atherton DH bike you choose, we will guarantee you'll love it.

7075 Aluminium tubes joined with CNC Aluminium lugs, optimised for strength and impact durability. Our core range comes in 12 standard sizes with 3build options chosen by us to perfectly complement your rides.
So impressed with how the S.200 handled the Red Bull Hardline course, the hits were insane. People were saying how risky it was to showcase a new bike at Hardline, but we were always confident in what it could do - and it's fair to say it passed the test.
Gee Atherton
I just love my bike, it’s quite simple. It seems to know how to behave in all manner of situations. A bike that fits correctly and just ‘feels right’ has improved my confidence and has actually sped up my rehab from injury. I love the adrenaline rush that bikes offer and the Atherton fits like a glove and rides like a dream.
This thing rips! I took a build 3 for a months hard riding in New Zealand and it didn't miss a beat. The 7075 aluminium provides loads of pop when jumping and boosting lips, but then the DW4 link makes for a fast, plush ride with great small bump sensitivity. One thing I noticed was just how predictable the bike was, which made for a hugely confidence inspiring ride - really, really stoked on this one!

Before I got my A.200 I was definitely more out of control, crashing all the time. The Atherton makes me ride faster and more aggressively but I’m more in control which has a big impact on my racing. My jumping has come on massively and people have been saying that I look really smooth and fluid which I’m stoked about. The Atherton brand is what I imagine would happen if a bike shop opened on Savile Row. British, Bespoke, Beautiful and easily the best bike I’ve ever owned.
If I were buying a bike retail with my own money, this is defo the bike I'd buy.
