All our bikes are made using lug and tube construction, drastically reducing innovation cycles and using fewer resources. Our engineering approach is very simple; we want to be proud of and excited to ride every single bike that we produce. We use cutting-edge technologies, choosing the best approach for the particular challenge in front of us.

We believe that a high-quality, perfect-fit bike can transform a rider’s progression whatever stage they are at, so we design bikes for professional racers, big mountain explorers, trail-riders and the grassroots riders that we see at Dyfi Bike Park every weekend.

Downhill - 200

Refined from race to race this bike keeps getting faster. Our World Championship-winning DH bike is super agile and responsive in handling, the A.200 opens up more line choices than ever before. Whether you're on the racetrack or just having fun at the bike park you’re going to love this bike.

Big Mountain Enduro - 170

Our big mountain enduro bikes are designed, built and tested to the extreme in the Dyfi Valley. Mixed-wheel configuration, DW suspension platform with 170mm of rear travel and a straight-through seat tube create these awesome all-rounders. Both our A and S Range 170s are big hitters in the bike park and beasts out on the trails.

Enduro - 150

The 150 can push as hard as you can, Inspired by Dan's experience on the Enduro circuit it’s equally at home on a big mountain mission with your mates. With its unique DW6 suspension platform and 150mm on the rear, it tracks the ground as if it is glued to it, this progressive, supple and hard-hitting bike does it all.

Trail - 130

Our 130 is light on the climbs and super-capable for a sick descent - the perfect combo for a big adventure. The Atherton Trail Bike has passed all the most stringent Cat 4 (Enduro) and Cat 5 tests (Downhill) from EFBE with flying colours, so wherever you ride you can be sure of a top day out.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

LUG AND TUBE TECHNOLOGY

The lug and tube method creates super-strong bikes suitable for today’s tougher usage. For our Additive Manufactured A Range, we use custom carbon tubes joined by titanium lugs where the forces acting on the bike are strongest.

For our S Range, the lugs are created in aluminium using CNC machining and joined to Alu tubes. Because we bond our frames we can use Aluminium 7075 which has better material properties (strength) than the weldable alternatives Additive Manufacturing allowed us to accelerate learnings and compress innovation cycles - so just four years into our company’s journey we took the World Championship Gold and Silver – a first for any British Bike company. The S-range carries forward our learnings on geometry, ride performance, strength and fit with a slight hit on weight.

FEATURES

PERFECT FIT

A perfect fit can transform your ride experience so we offer from 410mm reach to 530mm as well as custom sizing options. Our fit calc gives us the ability to make every lug set bespoke to order.

DW6

Dave Weagle’s DW6 linkage and a custom-tuned shock to work in unison with our titanium lugged construction to provide outstanding small bump sensitivity, optimal ride height and a progressive kinematic.

AM LUGS IN TITANIUM

Additive Manufacturing allows design flexibility to create custom sizing and innovative joint interfaces. Titanium gives optimum strength/weight for loaded areas of the frame, bonding brilliantly to carbon fibre laminates.

INDIVIDUALLY HAND CRAFTED

From design, print and testing to fettling, bonding and assembly, all of our A Range frames are individually hand-crafted in our Machynlleth facility, just a few miles from Dyfi Bike Park.

CHASSIS COMPLIANCE

We’ve worked hard to perfect the compliance of our chassis. Custom carbon tubing offers the perfect intersection of flexibility and stiffness for a calm, composed but playful ride.

NO THREADS, NO PROBLEM

There’s nothing as annoying as a stripped thread so the only threaded part on our bikes is the BB; for the rest, barrel nuts and standard fasteners mean you'll never have to hunt a custom part again!

PORT TO PORT CABLE ROUTING

All our bikes feature port-to-port cable routing with an internal sleeve guiding the cables through the frame. This offers a clean aesthetic, eradicates rattle and makes maintenance easy.

DOWNTUBE PROTECTOR

All our bikes come equipped with a rugged downtube protector designed and manufactured in the UK using multi-jet fusion technologies, impacts are dampened and dispersed across a larger area.
